We have made creating a poster as easy as possible. Simply click on the “Design your poster now” button to select a map or starry poster, and begin personalizing it to your heart’s content. Pick a location—be it a street name, zip code, or country— that holds a special place in your heart, once you have found your location, you can further design the poster by adjusting the (color) design, map style, size, font, and for the map poster the (color) marker aswell. Every part of the poster can be edited at Where It Happened.

Our posters are available in four different standard sizes. At Where It Happened, you can choose from the following poster formats:

The poster is printed on 275g/m2 paper with a lustre finish. This paper, combined with the 12-color print, ensures high color intensity. We’ll deliver the poster as you designed it during the order process.
You can choose to order a frame with your poster. You can do this under the heading “Size” in our editor. The black frames have a luxurious look and are fitted with a plate made of acrylic glass. For A4 frames, the frame is fitted with a plate made of real glass. We frame your poster directly to make it extra easy.
Sometimes the confirmation of an order ends up in the spam folder. If you have placed an order and have not received a confirmation, please check this folder.
If there is no confirmation here, feel free to send us a message! You can do this on the contact page. We would appreciate it if you provide the order number or name + email address so that we can find the correct order and send the confirmation + track & trace code.
For any adjustments that go beyond the options available in our standard design tool, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We are more than willing to collaborate with you to explore the available options, such as incorporating a different icon or company logo on the map poster pin, or using a specific font.
Delivery
We ship orders via Royal Mail. Once your order is delivered to a sorting center, you will receive a track & trace code to track its progress. Where It Happened takes responsibility for the package until it is delivered to you.
Orders will be securely wrapped in tissue paper and rolled into a cardboard triangular tube. All of the packaging used is plastic free, too!
For shipments within the UK, the production of your order will take around 3-5 working days. Once your order is ready, it will be dispatched for shipping, which takes 1-3 days. You will receive an email with a tracking code once your order has been dispatched.
Of course, it’s not the intention that your order arrives damaged. We at Where It Happened take our responsibility in this matter. Should your order have been delivered damaged, please contact us as soon as possible.
Please send an email to [email protected] and indicate in this email what the damages are, including photos if possible. This way we can get a good understanding of the damage. Don’t forget to mention your order number in the email.
As soon as we have received your email, we will process it as quickly as possible and ensure you receive a replacement copy. Customer satisfaction is very important to us, and we will do everything to ensure you are happy with your purchase.
